During the first pandemic summer, my brother and I built a historical replica of the classic cabin Henry David Thoreau made in the 1800’s by Walden Pond in Concord, Massachusetts. We used traditional timber-frame construction with planks we sawed from nearby fallen trees, using a chain sawmill.
